Rabbit
Since Miss C absolutely adores animals, we decided to take her to the Rabbito Cafe this past weekend.  I’ll be honest, the idea of mixing live animals and food service made me a little bit hesitant to try this place, but for the sake of the children right?!  We made sure we packed a good stash of our favorite hand sanitizer and headed out to play with some bunnies!

The cafe is tucked in a cute garden-like area right off of Suhumvit 101/1.  Miss C was excited from the moment we walked in the door.  There is a large pen in the center of the cafe with a few tables in a circle around it.  In the back of the cafe, there are more bunnies in cages that you can feed and visit with.  They allow you to hold the bunnies if you ask.  At one point, one of the staff members came out and did some tricks with one of the rabbits as well.

DSC_0644We weren’t very hungry, so we just ordered some chicken nuggets and french fries and Joel and I each ordered a drink.  The chicken nuggets were pretty low quality (think McDonalds) but our budding little vegetarian loved them (Miss C nearly refuses to eat meat – apparently unless its deep-fried).  For drinks, Joel ordered a berry smoothie and I ordered a grape flavored Italian soda.  They were actually quite delicious and the presentation was really nice.  They fit right in with the cute atmosphere of the cafe.

Miss C had a hard time leaving the bunnies behind, and we added a new word (bunny) to our one year old vocabulary!  Overall, it was a fun day out and we will be sure to be back soon!

How to get there:  The cafe is located on Sukhumvit 101/1, a few hundred meters down the soi coming from Sukhumvit.  It is easily accessed from Udomsuk BTS station by foot or in a taxi.
